SBCA ANNOUNCES SATELLITE RADIO SUPER SESSION TO BE HELD AT SBCA 2002 ANNUAL SATELLITE CONFERENCE AND EXPO
-- SBCA 2002 Annual Satellite Conference and Expo Being Held August 7-9 in Las Vegas --
ALEXANDRIA, VA, July 15, 2002 – The Satellite Broadcasting and Communications Association (SBCA) today announced the executives that will be participating in the Satellite Radio Super Session at SBCA 2002. The Satellite Radio Super Session is being held on Thursday, August 8, from 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm at the Las Vegas Convention Center in rooms N241-245.
The Satellite Radio Super Session, which is being sponsored by Home Box Office (HBO), will feature two keynote addresses, and an informative panel on the rollout of satellite radio and the new opportunities that this consumer satellite service offers the satellite retailer community.
“Satellite radio is one of the fastest growing consumer electronics products in the market today,” said SBCA President Andy Wright. “As an industry, we are very excited about the future of satellite radio and the enormous new opportunity that it can provide to distributors and retailers all across the country. The Satellite Radio Super Session promises to provide attendees an inside look at how providers, distributors and the retail community can work together to ensure this new satellite product enjoys the same success that DBS does today.
