SBCA to Offer Health Benefits to Member Companies

Washington, D.C., April 14, 2009 -- The Satellite Broadcasting and Communications Association (SBCA) announced a program to offer group health benefits to its members. This new health insurance program provides a wide selection of comprehensive coverage options, including PPO Co-pay Plans, Health Savings Accounts, Short Term Health Insurance and Student Health Insurance and can save members up to 40% over policies purchased individually. Plans will be enrolled through our broker USI Affinity and their plan administrator JLBG Health.

“These programs are designed to benefit small business and individuals. Pay for the coverage you need, and not the coverage you will never use. You build your personal plan, enroll via TeleExpress, (no paper application) and can be approved in as little as 24 hours. SBCA members can go to for more information.” stated Steve Hill, SBCA’s Deputy Executive Director.

Mr. Hill went on to say “The SBCA is pleased to be able to offer this program and will be partnering with our larger member companies to assist in the promotion of the new health insurance opportunity to their retailers and contractors.” As part of this effort, INSTALLS inc, LLC of Buffalo, NY will be the first organization to promote this program to their 8000 independent technicians and their families.

Lee Hess, INSTALLS inc Co-founder and Chairman stated, “INSTALLS has been aware of the challenge facing contractors in finding affordable health insurance, and we have been working with the SBCA to develop a program that supports our associates in the field. We are pleased to announce the new INSTALLS/SBCA health insurance program as another benefit for contractors participating in the INSTALLS network.”
